Turner Safety works with construction and general industry clients to mange safety in the workplace. Our client list includes large and small contractors. San Jose Construction, Sprig Electric, Sausal Construction, Berkeley Cement, Roberts Obyashi and many others. References are available.
Turner Risk Consulting works closely with insurance carriers and their policyholders to develop and implement risk control & safety programs for business. Our primary territory is Northern California but we also serve most of the Western States.
Steve Turner is a 30 year construction professional with a background in heavy industrial and commercial contracting. Turner Safety is approved by Federal OSHA to provide Construction Safety Training. Steve Turner has earned the designation of A.R.M. Associate in Risk Management and is recognized by the Insurance Institute of America. Turner Safety belongs to American Society of Safety Engineers. We are also NCCCO accredited for Crane Certification.

Mike Vander Mel brings a wealth of experience to our outside consulting division. Mike is an accomplished safety professional and is currently acting in 2 capacities for Turner Safety. Mike is our certified forklift trainer. He's also doing safety inspections and OSHA consulting for our construction group. I'm proud to welcome him aboard. I’m pleased to announce the newest member of "Turner Safety's team". Ed Foust is a 24 year safety professional. He was previously employed as the Safety & Risk Analyst for the City of Livermore. Ed is active with the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and Public Agency Safety Management Assoc. (PASMA). Ed is designated as a Certified Construction Health & Safety Trainer and approved by Fed OSHA. Ed Foust is well known in the Safety Community as a tireless worker dedicated to the Safety & Health profession.
